Portland Pioneer Properties (PPP) was founded in 2005 to offer premier service to the small property investor/landlord.  Since our inception, PPP has experienced steady expansion and growth each year.  Our property profile now spans over 150 properties in two States, Oregon and Washington and actively covers 8 Oregon Counties.

RENT TALK UPDATES FOR SEPTEMBER:

  Carbon Monoxide Detectors: 

 For new investors/Landlords, please don’t forget that Oregon passed new legislation beginning in the year 2010.  As an owner/landlord, if you rent or lease a residential property you must comply with the new Carbon Monoxide Detector law.  If you are not sure you understand what that law requires then Call now to 503-238-2560 and ask for Dick.  We can provide you with the basic information to get your properties started on the right track.

    City of Portland Garbage Service  Ordinance:  (ORS 90.320 (g):

  The City of Portland reguires the landlord to maintain garbage service.  That means that the service needs to be in the name of the landlord not the tenant.  If you would like more information on this ordinance and how it affects you then call our office and we will be glad to provide you with the materials needed to navigate the ordinance to your advantage.

    Section 8 Consulting:

  Portland Pioneer Properties has over 20 years experience dealing with Section 8 and low income housing programs, everything from adult family group homes, to migrant farm worker housing.  We are trained Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspectors and have been conducting Hud Property Inspections for over 20 years.  Our Management Services brings us into contact with all the local Housing Authorities in our City and County service areas.  If you need consulting help in this area we would love to talk to you about the program.
